Lovely clean room and nice bathroom

Your conceirge Paddy is the best! Always greeted guests with a smile and si helpful. I do have a comment in your check on personnel. They need to be more helpful about directions, restaurants, pubs etc. If Paddy wasn’t there we’d be lost. They need to learn the area a little better.

Wonderful hotel situated perfectly for walking around Dublin. Bed and bed linens were wonderful. The breakfast was delicious and included lots of fruit too. I would stay here again!

Disappointed with the cooked breakfast. Dinner on the first evening was good. Other than this we had a very good experience with the hotel.

We had a beautiful one night stay at Buswells recently. The atmosphere in the hotel was lovely and the room was excellent. We have stayed there before but not for a few years and I thought the room felt like it has been upgraded since our last stay.

The check in clerk was so lovely and welcoming. Good location!

Absolutely phenomenal

Stayed for three nights. Breakfast staff at Trumans were lovely ..especially the manager. I forget her name but she always had a blazer on. Lovely interior. Was able to walk everywhere.

We had a lovely three days at Buswells. The staff was accommodating, the breakfasts were a treat and the coffee fantastic, the meals at the pub were diverse, a mix of traditional Irish food and modern. We could not be more pleased with the accommodations. We expect to rebook when we return toIreland

Very small room for the price. Nice breakfast buffet. Paddy certainly knows everything. Convenient location for Trinity and National Gallery. Otherwise quiet and comfortable

Dear Buswells team: We (U.S. couple, late 50's) very much enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Plenty of positives. Highlights: - Front desk staff friendliness, service, great attitude. Top marks. - Restaurant service, all around: hostess was very pleasant and flexible. Table staff uniformly cheerful, service-oriented, skilled. - Restaurant food: Breakfast food was very good. Buffet quite nice. Dinner: nothing to complain about, but not as pleasing as we had expected. Curry dish was too heavy and soupy. Sea bass filets were excellent, though. - Towel thickness and toilet paper thickness satisfactory. Never underestimate how much each of those makes an impression on the guest. What touches one's body is crucial to the impression of quality or cheapness in a hotel. Constructive criticisms: - Bathroom sink area: too cramped for lady's comfortable use, had to use blow dryer in bedroom, which was not optimal. No decent room at sink for make-up, etc. - Room decor felt a bit dowdy, aged, not "fresh." Especially the carpet. Door floor sill needed paint. - Location of hair dryer was not easily found (was in desk drawer, not bathroom or wardrobe). Had to query front desk to find it. - In-room tea & coffee set-up was on the floor of wardrobe upon check-in; not appealing or hygienic. Should be on the desk. I am glad to be given the opportunity to comment because I wasn’t asked how our stay was when checking out which surprised me. Generally, our stay was fine, the hotel’s location is excellent and it has a homely atmosphere which is nice. However I have 1 criticism and that is in relation to the breakfast service, frankly it was chaotic, the tables were not laid correctly which meant every morning you were constantly asking for cutlery or condiments. The food was also served haphazardly, so for example you would get toast long before you would get your cooked breakfast. My view was that the breakfast staff were all very laid back and complacent, they could do with a bit of a shake. Apart from that, it was a pleasant enough stay and I would stay again

Really lovely stay

Hotel itself was nice and location was good. Problem was the rooms were very warm and because of the street noise you couldn’t really open the window. Also very uncomfortable bed

For comfort, convenience, efficency and value, this Hotel is outstanding. Located in the city centre it is a pleasure to receive courteous and friendly service.

The accommodations and staff are first class! This hotel is very clean and beautifully maintained, Each member of the staff went above and beyond normal protocol to ensure each member of my family had the best possible visit. Highly recommended, would stay there again, again and again!

A perfect place to stay - I had a small. but suitable single room. Excellent staff - the waiter in the bar even remembered where I had been siting for tea in the afternoon when I returned to have something to eat in the evening. A Sligo visitor

Staff were very friendly at hotel. This is the most important thing. The triple room rate and the location of hotel were also excellent. The room was clean but the bones of the room were not great with scratched headboard/furniture/condensation on windows etc. I will definitely return - but to a nicer single or double room.
